Worked with a cross-functional team to develop Quackly the course recommender tool for UC Davis based on grade distribution and sentiment, focusing on backend development and data processing. Designed and implemented a Dockerized data pipeline using Python, Playwright, and Selenium to automate data collection and storage in PostgreSQL. Built FastAPI endpoints to support course schedule retrieval and search functionality. Leveraged NLP techniques to process course reviews, enhancing the recommendation system with sentiment analysis insights.
